Hello. A few weeks ago, I had mentioned that I was doing a video course on creating, optimizing, and monetizing a WordPress (.org; self-hosted) website…
Well, I have good news and I have bad news:
I have started and successfully recorded 4 episodes already. I’ve uploaded one to the Youtube Channel that was created for this series.
As you can see, I’ve got one episode uploaded already… However, after re-watching it, I’ve decided I’ll probably re-record it again; I’m not totally happy with how it (the recording) came out… Also, see the “bad news” next.
The new microphone that I had ordered for doing the voice with is not here yet. This normally isn’t too big of a deal but I want to make sure that there is as little background noise as possible… So, as soon as the mike comes, I will start voice-over(ing) the episodes that I’ve already filmed.
Also, I need a cooler (and shorter) intro for the video, so if anyone has suggestions (or even a fiverr gig that they can recommend), I’d appreciate it.
I think I like this, which is the result of a Fiverr Gig:
Meanwhile, I’ll tinker with After Effects to see if I can cobble something up
Edit: Also to note; I’ve updated the Ping List download-able PDF File with a few new Ping Services and have taken out the older Ping Services that were no longer working. You can download the 2013 Ping List here.
